Eighth most dangerous city in America! Boo-yah baby! How’s that for some street cred?

Speaking of street cred, Crime in Charlotte would like you to meet Kendrick Omar Hammond. Hammond has been arrested by CMPD 45 times and has been convicted five times of serious charges, including armed robbery. A 2002 first degree murder charge was dismissed, as was a 2004 assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury charge. Hammond has spent a total of 15 months behind bars.

He was arrested last week for driving while his license was revoked. Hammond is currently free on bond. Have a nice day.

Update: The #1 city, St. Louis, also has a Parsons Transportation Group designed light rail system. We’re almost there! Keep pushing Parks, Mayor Pat, Queen Pam! We can do it!
