It is likely only a portion of the story has been captured, but according to the Mountain Xpress, an Asheville occupant was arrested for violating a municipal ordinance that states:

It shall be unlawful for any person to advertise by the distribution of samples or printed matter within the city, except as provided in the annual license and privilege tax ordinance.

The arrestee was passing out flyers containing pie charts illustrating pre-redistributed wealth, and was far from engaging in any form of capitalism promoting products or profits. The occupant’s mother has expressed pride in her daughter, and citizens are wondering (1) why nobody else gets in trouble for leafleting and (2) how the city got off passing such an un-Constitutional ordinance in the first place.
