Former Speaker Jim Black wants his sentencing delayed until August. The technical reason has to do with whether the bribe Black took and passed onto Michael Decker was really a bribe.

This issue does buy Black time, but time to do what, exactly? Meanwhile, who is helping Black to pay what have to be staggering legal bills?
