Today’s Wall Street Journal has a saber-rattling piece by former senators Joe Lieberman and Jon Kyl, claiming that inaction will harm our security. Infinitely more persuasive is this piece by John Whitehead of the Rutherford Institute, presenting ten reasons why we should not get involved.
The current situation has an August, 1914 feeling to it, but many politicians in both parties are eager for the US to attack Syria so as to uphold our “credibility.” Madness.
