I’ve had several people tell me they think Pat McCrory won’t run for mayor again. I’m not sure about that — but we’ll find out tomorrow afternoon nonetheless.
No matter the short-term decision, I cannot imagine he is walking away from politics for good. Sue Myrick is not gonna stay in the House forever and the Uptown crowd would much prefer McCrory in that slot than Robert Pittenger, Jim Pendergraph, or even Hal Weatherman.
Update: Keith Larson is saying that Mayor Pat will takeover the 9pm slot on WBT. Oh-kayyy.
