The Equal Opportunity Employment Commission has ruled that the City of Greensboro discrimminated against black police officers, giving them the right to sue the city.
Reaction varies. Greensboro City Council members are leaning toward an appeal; Hoggard says the case “screams for a settlement,” while ConAlt says take it to court, although he also expects a settlement to “avoid the egg on the face.”
