That quote comes from famed journalist Bob Woodward, who spoke at Duke yesterday about his latest book. His quote comes in his discussion of national and international issues and the various presidents and policies about which he’s written, but I believe it also applies to every level and type of government.
The John Locke Foundation takes seriously its commitment to government transparency and accountability and has created a website dedicated to shining the light on government operation and helping citizens gain access to information.
