My thoughts snapped back to the case of the Queen City’s high dollar call girl ring this weekend when one of the widely-rumored johns was seen out on the town in one Charlotte’s finer dining establishments. He evidently does not lack for company or cash.
Has a legit federal case — doubtless involving the local rich and powerful — ever dropped faster from the public radar screen? Seriously.
