Speaking of naming names, The Meck Deck’s Jeff Taylor wonders which, if any, prominent Charlotte shakers will be on the “client” list following an FBI prostitution sting:

The charges are based largely on information from a prostitute, unnamed in court documents, who cooperated with the FBI. The woman told agents she had worked for the ring since December 2005, and made about $160,000 last year, even after paying Sallie Saxon 30 percent.

“All my clients were prominent businessmen, doctors, lawyers, athletes, CEOs — a lot of local Charlotteans,” she told WSOC-TV, which did not show her face or name her. “This was my full-time job. Four times a week, five to six assignments per day.”

Geez, and in such a nice, progressive city such as Charlotte. Quoting Archie Bunker, it sounds like they’re doing it any time of the day or night, and for no reason whatsoever.
