This week, in answer to a rather isolated incident in which a child was run over, undercover cops statewide will be cracking down on people who disobey school bus stop arms. One is left to assume: (1) It will be less risky to break other traffic laws this week and this law next week, and (2) People are still suckers for symbolic hype.
