Spec. Christopher Barton came home to Harrisburg last month. The “Rakkasan” — a member of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division — fell in Khost province Afghanistan.
The town turned out to remember him. Yesterday, the Barton family served as grand marshals of the town’s July 4th parade. They needed no introduction.

Chris was 22. He married his widow Heather in October. Chris proposed to Heather on July 4th, 2009.
