Parents of kids in a Texas school found out after the fact that a group from a terrorist-friendly Muslim group had given Islamic instruction to their kids:

Kids were forced to learn the “five pillars of Islam”, how to pray 5 times a day, and of course the most important lesson of all, “There is one God, his name is Allah”.

As usual, the school district spokesperson sees nothing wrong:

“If you pulled a book about Islam from the library, you would find the same stuff in the book. There was no proselytizing.”

Helloooo! Of course it’s proselytizing. What’s all this mess I’ve heard for more than 40 years that we must keep religion out of the public schools, that almost its mere mention is unconstitutional? Where is the ACLU outrage?

Imagine if a group of hijab-wearing girls was forced to listen to an evangelical tell them all about how wonderful Christianity is, and then force them to recite some quotes of Jesus from the King James version.

Just an exercise, you understand. No proselytizing.
