On Sunday, Chad Adams joined a panel to debate economic incentives on NBC 17’s “At Issue.” The discussion was prompted by news that Durham officials must decide whether to provide a package to computer maker Lenovo, which is entertaining offers from other cities. The topic continues to percolate around the country, including in Washington state, home of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation, which, like JLF, is keeping the issue before the public. This week, EFF told Paul Chesser that his “cash cow” opinion piece will be published in its September newsletter. In June, the Chesser column ran in the Washington Examiner.
