The N&R reports (unposted) the Kernersville Board of Alderman unanimously rejected Guilford County Schools rezoning request for an airport-area high school, three weeks after the city’s planning board rejected the request.

At issue is K’ville’s long-term plans to expand its Triad Business Park. Needless to say, a high school doesn’t fit into those plans. The rejection pretty much sends GCS back to drawing board with its plans for an airport-area high school.
