According to this story Representative Ron Paul’s bill calling for an audit of the Federal Reserve System has been gutted by the chairman of the committee responsible for preliminary action on it.
The culprit is North Carolina’s Representative Mel Watt.
Voters in Watt’s district might want to know why the Fed has to be kept more secret than the Wizard of Oz.
