The Rural Center, not long ago, lost its identity due to ridiculous overhead. The new entity was supposed to make sure all committed disbursements were delivered. Now, Canton appears to have $25,000 in “un-purposed” funds from the center, burning a hole in its pocket, in need of a good home.
The Rural Center money is also paying for four new welcome signs that will be placed at several different entranceways to Canton.
