It is no secret that laws are used to penalize rivals. FDR created a 79% income tax bracket exclusively for John D. Rockefeller. But logic isn’t working in the NAACP’s recent request that churches get their congregations to protest legislation it says will hurt minorities. For one thing, the bills are aimed at reducing more of that waste, fraud, and abuse stuff. If it happens that more minorities are engaging in waste, fraud, and abuse, their representatives should applaud legislators who wish to stop enabling their character-destroying habits.

The comeback to that remark is a demand that I spend less time blogging and more time with the down and out, trying to lift them from their poverty. The truth of the matter is that my personality is too weak. I’ve tried, only to find myself getting advice on how to get into this or that program. I was even once offered an Obama Phone. I’ve even have people on welfare buy me presents with over-extended credit. I guess they feel sorry for my middle-class lifestyle.

Once again, by definition, racism is the belief that one race is somehow superior to another. To elaborate beyond reasonable bounds, is the racist one who directs legislation against low-income fraud or the one who says low-income frauds are mostly of a minority persuasion?
