For decades feminists have been shouting that wives should be treated as individuals, not as extensions of their husbands. But now that Hillary Clinton is set to introduce Bill at the Democratic convention, feminists seem to think they’ve scored a victory. Their accomplishment? Getting the Democratic Party and Sen. Kerry to relegate a New York senator they tout as a party leader to the role of adoring wife. Now we know for sure what Hillary once emphatically denied: she’s not only standing by her man, she’s taking a back seat to him. Add this to the list of feminist hypocricies.
