Maybe because Barbara Ehrenriech wrote it, so it may be as full of crud as her book Nickel and Dimed. In it she claims that Hillary Clinton is a member of a conservative, fundamentalist Bible-study group. Say what?
Now, this is obviously a way to blunt the story of Obama’s racist pastor. So, I’m guessing the lefty Obama lovers are claiming that a pretty routine Bible group that Hillary used to buck up her spiritual creds is some kind of Jim Jones or David Koresh deal.
The fact that her source for this bombshell is that font of reliable journalism Mother Jones is a tipoff that something might be amiss. The other is that it is just not believable that Hillary Clinton is a secret member of the vast right wing conspiracy. I can’t wait to see how this plays out.
