The New York Times reports, “[A]ssociates of Colin L. Powell, the
former secretary of state, said he had expressed reservations about Mr.
Bolton in conversations with at least two wavering Republican senators.”

He
can’t dictate his own hagiographies to Bob Woodward any more, so he’s
starting to work on being SecState again from 2009. What “associates”
does he have who can tell the press about this anyway?
