Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has been released from New York’s Mt. Sinai hospital after an overnight stay, Reuters reported Tuesday afternoon.
The health-conscious native New Yorker is “fine” and has returned home, an unnamed spokesperson told People.com.
Paltrow, who adheres to a strict macrobiotic and vegan diet, was reportedly slumped over in a wheelchair pushed by her rock star husband Chris Martin when she was admitted Monday afternoon.
The reason Paltrow was hospitalized remains unknown. A spokesman was not immediately available for comment.
Maybe it was the flu. Who knows? But if it was a result of an inadequate diet, they’ll never reveal it.
