Patrick J. Michaels (right), senior research fellow for research and economic development at George Mason University, has an interesting column this morning: Why hasn’t the Earth warmed in nearly 15 years?.

In it, Michaels points out that evidence is accumulating that global-warming zealots “have simply overstated the sensitivity of surface temperature to changes in carbon dioxide.”

You can hear Michaels in person tomorrow at the John Locke Foundation’s weekly Shaftesbury Society gathering. His talk, “Climate Coup: Global Warmings Invasion of Our Government and Our Lives,” begins at noon at the JLF offices at 200 W. Morgan Street in Raleigh. Lunch is available for $10.
