Why is Alamance-Burlington hiring in-school suspension staff if students are not in school?

The Alamance-Burlington Schools will conduct the first nine weeks of classes using remote learning only.  So, why does the district want to hire in-school suspension staff?  Can remote learning students receive in-school suspension, even if school buildings are closed to students?

The in-school suspension positions for the district were posted on August 26 and 31. Perhaps they are simply thinking ahead.
