nnTwo words: Yvette Prieto.

Jordan and his Cuban-born supermodel girlfriend bought a house outside of Miami a few months ago. And a couple weeks ago MJ’s empire had to issue a stark denial that the couple were expecting a baby.

Jordan’s downtime clearly revolves around Prieto, 30, and I’ve yet to see any evidence that she has ever been to Charlotte, let alone to a Bobcats game. Maybe she’d dig being an NBA owner’s main squeeze, but seems like a helluva leap considering she and Jordan hang in South Florida, the Kentucky Derby, anywhere except the QC.

Bottomline, any speculation on Jordan owning an NBA franchise that does not include the Yvette angle is pretty much a waste of time. Besides, Jordan wants to see if Larry Brown can get this bunch in the playoffs next year and validate his hoops czar cred. Ownership hassles would just complicate things for him.
