A promo for the Nancy Grace show on CNN has a photo montage purporting illustrating the biggest crime stories of the year. But the first face to show on the promo ad is none other than Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, followed by others including Michael Vick and O.J. Simpson. Here’s the, of course, flattering photo used by CNN.
Wondering why, say, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), who’s been involved in more shady deals than Tony Soprano, wasn’t used rather than the squeaky clean McConnell. I’m sure they’ll say it was all a mistake, but CNN’s mistakes always seem break one way.
