The Maggie Valley Board of Aldermen approved a five-year contract for events that will be hosted by the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. Each year, acts include the Slammin’ and Jammin’ Car and Truck Show, the Southeastern Gas and Petroleum Expo, and three concerts.
With focus like that, the town accepted a $184,786 federal grant to help with its police officer payroll.
