Apparently the ACLU is disappointed in Presiden Obama’s track record on civil liberties. Remember, Obama is a self described progressive and a product of the progressive movement. This is the movement whose heroes gave us the draft, the segregated military, eugenics, Japanese internment camps, and who turned away Jews attempting to escape Nazi tyranny. And the ACLU is surprised? I guess if animals could communicate it would also believe a cat that promised not to eat mice and birds.
