Rocker Ted Nugent is an ardent supporter of the second amendment. According to the Washington Whispers column in US News & World Report, there is a grassroots effort to propel Nugent into the top job at the NRA.
Nugent reportedly says he is “ready, willing, and able to serve if the good NRA members call upon me.”
I welcome the prospect of Nugent discussing his love for the U.S. Constitution and hearing his inspirational and entertaining stories about bonding with his kids on hunting and camping trips. We need a man who’s not one bit apologetic about his love for, and knowledge of, the founding document.
