If you were a kid in the ’50s you spent a lot of time looking at a test pattern on your TV. If you got up too early, that thing below would be all you would find on your TV, which likely received only two stations, three if you were lucky. At the other end of the day, that Indian test pattern was what came on right after the National Anthem was played, usually around midnight.

NBC has just announced that it will cut back on its broadcast schedule. With things going as they are, how long will it be before the test pattern makes a comeback?
