The Blue Ridge Sustainability Institute will be hosting a Regional Wind Summit at the 10th Annual Southern Energy and Environment Expo August 20, from 12:30 – 4:30, at the WNC Agricultural Center.
Eliminating from consideration the sensitive ecological areas, special view sheds, and other reasonable concerns for locations, there’s still enough wind power in WNC to generate the equivalent of the Cliffside Coal Burning Project!
