A video poker worker admits he accepted more than $1,000 in cash to make a political contribution to N.C. House Speaker Jim Black.

Robert Dunlap of Southland Amusements & Vending says he accepted up to $1,400 from a client and transferred the cash into a money order in that client’s name. That money order was used to contribute to Black’s campaign.

Dunlap has said he never participated in any scheme to give cash to potential campaign contributors.
