The policies and ideas taking form out in one Western North Carolina county is like a first cousin to the plans down in Johnston County
Of course growth issues are hot topics to many local and county boards
in the state.  Out in Jackson County, which is west of Balsam Mountain,
the anti-growth mindset is taking hold with some out there and others
are seeing this as government regulation snowballing in the direction
of small business people and entrepreneurs who are in the home building
industry.  When it’s all said and done the people will speak, and
sometimes you have to keep your fingers crossed that a majority of
county commissioners will listen as well.
