Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education member Elisabeth Motsinger questions a proposed budget seminar by the J.W. Pope Civitas Institute, saying she “can’t imagine the whole community feels well represented by Civitas.”

According to the Winston-Salem Journal, Motsinger “would have no problem having Civitas speak to the board in a forum if equal time were given to a group such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.”

If you ask me, the NAACP needs no equal time; they make their influence on public education known every chance they get. And just how much of the community “feels well-represented” by the NAACP?
