Administrators with the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools plan to cut 25 full-time positions to save money in next year’s budget, but will offer the employees in those jobs comparable slots elsewhere in the system, officials said last night.

Media clerks at all 10 regular high schools and curriculum coordinators at some elementary and middle schools would be cut under preliminary 2009-10 budget plans.

Those employees would be able to keep their jobs until another comparable job opens, Kerry Crutchfield, the school system’s director of financial services told the school board last night.
