Taco Bell wants in on the lucrative breakfast food market, and based on their new ad campaign — which features guys named Ronald McDonald — they see McDonald’s as their competition.

Well, McDonald’s isn’t shying away from a fight. And because of this competition, you and I are in line for a great deal.

The world’s biggest hamburger chain announced Friday that participating U.S. locations will offer small cups of McCafe coffee at no charge during breakfast hours from March 31 through April 13.

McDonald’s said that this is the first time it’s ever had a free coffee event nationwide. Its McCafe product line, which also includes iced coffees and other drinks, debuted in the U.S. in 2009.

If only we can convince the Left that competitive forces work NOT ONLY in the fast food market, but in education too. When you infuse Big Education with competition, the customers win.
