You’ll recall that the Left’s response to the outrage over Instructor Crystall’s email is that the issue is “not about speech” but about oppression. Seems the “comments [T]im made” made a Protected Class feel uncomfortable ? that’s why the issue is supposedly not about speech. Komfort ?ber alles!

Here’s another example, from today’s Daily Tar Heel. The issue is the DTH’s decision to run an advertisement for Playboy magazine, a decision that understandably upset some on campus, one of whom said:

“You always have to consider that freedom is a double-edged sword, and we feel like the oppression that Playboy represents doesn’t deserve that level of freedom,” said David Bennett, campus relations chairman for the White Ribbon Campaign (emphasis added).
