A Sikh is challenging the U.S. Army’s regulations on beards and turbans. Undoubtedly some liberal court appointee who has never been near anything military other than the recruiting station they picketed during the Vietnam War will think it’s just a great idea to let soldiers wear turbans and beards. But people of all cultures have been bending to the Army’s rules for unit cohesion for more than 200 years. If Sikhs can’t join the club, they should not join the Army.
