Less than a week after Greensboro City Council member Robbie Perkins ‘that’s soooo ’50s’ comment regarding Mayor Bill Knight’s decision to add prayer to council meetings comes this quote in response to stronger oversight of Matt Brown’s doings up at the coliseum:
“It’s completely ridiculous,” Councilman Robbie Perkins said. “The single biggest threat to the operation of the coliseum is the Greensboro City Council. They are undermining an expert (Brown).”
Pretty incredible statement, considering the fact that it appears to us bystanders that Brown pretty much does what he wants, with the council finding out after the fact.
Interesting that the N&R article didn’t mention Brown’s latest venture, reported by the Rhino a couple of weeks ago.
