The members of STEPUP Canton invite members of the Canton community to an informational program on Monday, Sept. 26 at noon in the Colonial Theatre.
STEPUP Canton is a economic development program sponsored by the N.C. Rural Center that finds ways to create jobs, enhance existing businesses and attract new businesses to small towns.
The members of STEPUP Canton have been meeting for more than a year to research and develop ideas and projects that will enhance the economic vitality of the town.
Through the N.C. Rural Center, the organization has funds to directly or indirectly create jobs, aid current businesses and implement projects that will benefit the town’s economy.
