You might be a progressive if you say the religious right is an burgeoning theocracy and think the First Amendment precludes people from having Christian bases for their political goals, but you have no problem confusing higher taxes with Christian charity and arguing that Jesus Christ wants his followers to support Obama’s state takeover of health care.
Heavens to Murgatroyd, why aren’t Christians making a moral issue of the remaining Evil Freedom left in America’s healthcare system? And let’s go further: why are they silent that there is so much Evil Freedom in the provision of an even greater need ? FOOD? Who would Jesus tax?
