I came across this travesty after spending $36 on last minute gifts at my local Wal-Mart:

Inside a South Florida Wal-Mart last Thursday, union-sponsored protesters handed out empty, gift-wrapped boxes to children and made them cry, according to multiple witnesses — and it appears that the arrests of two of the protesters may have been part of a grand strategy designed by Big Labor-backed WakeUpWalMart.com.

Don’t these people have anything better to do? And what exactly are they protesting? That Wal-Mart has a functioning business model that delivers goods to people at attractive prices while employing people along the way? I thought labor groups liked employing people.

Oh, that’s right. Just union people count. Now I get it. Only kids who pay union dues get presents. The rest can just be used as props in some half-assed guerrilla theatre.
