Mike Nifong’s hits just keep on coming. Today we learn that murder charges have been dismissed against the man charged with a fatal shooting at Southpoint Mall. But he did plead guilty to a misdemeanor and some probation. So that’s OK, I guess.
It seems the DA’s office was swayed by concerns that the accused murderer’s life had been ruined by this case. Too bad they don’t feel that way about three lacrosse players who are demonstrably innocent.
