It’s a good thing I can’t remember the definition of socialism. I’m looking at AB Tech’s (Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College’s) continuing education course offerings for the upcoming term. In the Entrepreneurship category, one may enroll in “Business Taxes,” “Doing Business with the Government,” “Public Contracting for Artists,” “The Business of Public Contracting,” “Making Your Business Legal,” or one of three “Programs and Services for Your Small Business” offerings from the Small Business Administration. The latter three are free, and they are described thus:

Discover the programs and services offered by the US Small Business Administration for startup and existing small businesses. Find out what SBA-sponsored and SBA-funded resources are available to counsel and train small business owners in all areas of small business management (including business planning). Find out what it takes to obtain a small business loan and to access SBA financing sources in particular. Discover the SBA’s government contracting, minority, and other certification programs which [sic.] can enable your small business to obtain federal government contract work.”
