Progress on Winston-Salem’s taxpayer-funded downtown stadium pleases the citizen review committee. Construction work is about 90 percent complete and on pace to be finished two weeks before the Dash’s home opener.
Now, two things have to happen: the team needs to sell some tickets and — no kidding — Congress needs to pass legislation attaching a $2 million grant so the city can be repaid for street improvements.
