That’s how the Council on Foreign Relations describes him. The NYT now calls him the “Al Qaeda’s leader in Iraq.” The Washington Post uses the same language, but its story waits until the second paragraph and the website still has an AP report describing him simply as a “Jordanian terror suspect.”
This all gives John Murtha one more reason to bring the troops home.
