Ok, confessions first, I rented (and watched) Dawn of the Dead and The Day After Tomorrow this weekend. The logic of both movies is pretty interesting.

In one, a strange disease erupts for unknown reasons that cause the dead to walk and search out living folks to munch on for sustenance, this creates more of the walking dead. All of this happens very quickly. People trapped in a mall seek out ways to survive.

In the other, the weather abruptly changes due to the warming of the earth to create an instant ice-age. All of this happens very quickly. Wolves are freed to munch on the living in New York but don’t apparently spread disease. People are trapped in a New York library seek ways to survive.

So, using the logic of both movies, one can easily conclude that Global Warming will cause diseases to erupt that will make the dead walk during the next ice age. Oh, and it will happen very quickly.

And this seems to fit nicely with the Resurrection as Michael Moore sees it. In fact, maybe this should be his 911 follow up movie about Jesusland.
