Problems with Vance County’s proposed zoning ordinances prompted a quick reply from Chad Adams when they arose, nearly a year ago.  Since then, Chad and the Locke Foundation have helped zoning opponents, arming them with the facts on zoning as it relates to personal freedom and added cost to residents. Paul Chesser recently summed up the debate in a Carolina Journal Exclusive. With residents hearing the other side of the zoning argument from Locke, the issue itself became a platform for many candidates running for local office. The political turnaround speaks for itself.
