That’s the word from Durham County Elections Director Mike Ashe.

Among them is ACORN, which Ashe has had under the microscope over questionable signatures on some of the forms ACORN has submitted to Ashe’s department. Ashe met with ACORN’s state director, who assures Ashe the group will give its volunteers more training. According to the Herald-Sun (emphasis is mine):

Ashe added that he still intends to have the State Board of Elections check the problem submissions, but is holding off on sending them in until he sees if his office receives any more bad forms this week.

The problem submittals included numerous cases where the same name appeared on multiple forms, and an attempt to register a 14-year-old.
