The Center for Food, Power, and Life aims to protect and expand freedom in the vital policy areas of agriculture, energy, and the environment, which we believe will enhance North Carolinians' lives by better access to food, power, and more of life's needs and wants.
The Mission of the Civitas Center for Public Integrity is to improve the trustworthiness of North Carolina's democratic institutions and, as a result, increase the public's faith in those institutions. We do that by advocating for election and government integrity, investigating possible violations of election laws, tracking threats to government integrity and civilized public debate, presenting reliable data, and monitoring the regulatory process.
When students have the opportunity to find the best context and pathway in which to develop their unique talents, they thrive. We believe that transparency is necessary to help students and parents make informed decisions. American democracy depends on the civic literacy of its citizens. Restoring a founding-document-based curriculum through K-16 is essential.
