Center for Agricultural Studies
Locke's Center for Agricultural Studies works to advance North Carolina's top industry by supporting policies that increase food freedom and access to markets for our farmers and producers. With demand for North Carolina's food and fiber at an all-time high, the presence of needless regulation and protectionist policies make a competitive market more difficult than necessary. It also precludes aspiring farmers from pursuing their dreams. Protecting and growing our state's oldest and top industry will ensure that North Carolina remains the leader in the Southeast for working and raising a family.
