Bottom line: let’s raise taxes on the “rich” — those making more than $200,000. Campaign 2012, it seems, will be nothing more than the same old leftist tactic of trying to make entrepreneurs and business people out to be bad people who somehow don’t deserve the fruits of their sweat and hard work. If the president wants to show true leadership and a true understanding and appreciation for the grit and determination that makes this country a beacon of opportunity, he should hold up the risk-takers and the innovators and the people who’ve put everything on the line to start a business as role models. Instead, he and his supporters want Americans to be jealous and indignant about the success of others. Sad.
